Wounded Healer Medicine Wheel Experiential:

For Professionals at-risk for Secondary/Vicarious Trauma.

Conducted within your office setting or - ideally - in a more refreshing outdoor environment, facilitated by myself and an authentic, traditional Medicine Wheel healer, this is the perfect team-building experience for teams seeking to rejuvenate and gain relief from the effects of secondary/vicarious trauma.

Medicine Wheel Training for professionals working with trauma survivors is an inward journey toward healing, wholeness and restoration. This program involves deep inner work, shadow work, meditation and breathwork, as well as bio-energetic release. Participants create their own process within a safe setting, leading to a restoration of vitality, passion and purpose.

Medicine Wheel, also called the Sacred Hoop, is an important part of Native American culture and spirituality but accessible for all peoples and settings.

Traditionally, this template has been used for ritualistic, healing, teaching and astronomical purposes.

There isn't one precise meaning and function of the Medicine Wheel, as different Native American tribes are thought to have interpreted it differently. Generally used for healing and health, it symbolizes the cycles of life and embodies the cardinal directions- North, East, South, and West. The directions are represented by distinctive colors of white, yellow, red and black. They also stand for the annual seasons (winter, spring, summer, and fall), the natural elements (wind, earth, fire, and water) and the aspects of life (spiritual, physical, mental and emotional). All metaphorical representations of the human psyche.

The Medicine Wheel is considered to symbolize peaceful interaction between the living beings inhabiting the Earth. Its circle shows everything as part of a cosmic whole and represents the balance between personal and natural powers. The wheel can be used for self-realization, finding your purpose in life and bringing fulfillment and vitality to your personal and work-life.

This experience can be a game-changer for your team with lasting palpable effects of team chemistry and performance.
